The signs I have performed inside them by Jean-Louis Coraboeuf "And the Lord said to Moses, 'How long will these people reject me? How long will they refuse to believe me, with all the signs that I have performed among [qereb, inside, within] them?'" (Numbers 14:11 Interlinear). According to the rabbis, God had performed a miracle inside of each Israelite for 40 years. The clothes and footwear were not worn out (Deuteronomy 29:5), and the constant manna each day prevented the people of God from falling under the sicknesses of Egypt (Exodus 15:26 "for I am the Lord God, who cures you [Yahve Rapha]"). Christ in me (Galatians2:20) is Yahve Rapha who cures us. Just as manna was the perfect food for the Israelites for 40 years, so is the Word of God (Christ) in us the perfect spiritual food to cure all our ills. Therefore God calls us, just as he did His people, to abide each day with our healing, for we live with faith in the Son of God residing in us! |
