The mind of Christ by Jean-Louis Coraboeuf "But we ourselves have the mind of Christ" (1 Corinthians 2:16). We have the mind of Christ because our spirit lives, and because God, through His spirit imparts to us the depths of his thoughts. One of the goals of the renewed Covenant is to put the Torah in our thoughts and write it in our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Hebrew 8:10). Thus the Holy Spirit echoes the thoughts of God and communicates them to us by grace. And if we can now judge the things of the world, it is because we are stirred by the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:10-16). |
